I think he’s hungry?
More Florentine palace ceilings, courtesy of my “Palaces of Florence” class last semester. // Location: Palazzo Vecchio // This tiny room (Studiolo of Francesco I) was lined with paintings which open up to reveal hiding spots where trinkets could be stored. He was interested in alchemy so the paintings reflect that. The top middle is Prometheus receiving a spectacular gem from Nature and the surrounding paintings include the 4 elements, the 4 temperaments of man, and the 4 seasons. (at Palazzo Vecchio)
